（吉隆坡11日訊）XOX說電訊（XOX，0165，創業板貿易股）與流動資訊營運商IDOTTV公司合作，平均每日為后者提供5000萬令吉通話時間作為商品交易，為期2年。
該公司今日發佈文說，子公司XOX說電訊錢包（XOX wallet）將在這2年間，為IDOTTV公司旗下回教銀行Tawarruq融資交易系統AS-SIDQ，將通話時間轉為交易商品。
根據協議，AS-SIDQ交易平台每完成1宗交易，即當貸款申請人選擇以通話時間為交易商品，XOX說電訊即可賺取轉賬費。
XOX說電訊非執行主席拿督斯里阿都阿京透露，XOX說電訊錢包能與IDOTTV公司達至獨合作方式，同時也改寫金教金融傳統商品交易定議。
另一廂，AS-SIDQ放眼，下個月即可推出通話時間商品交易服務，目前，AS-SIDQ交易平台獲興業回教銀行（RHB Islamic Bank）及其他回教金融機構高度推薦。

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 (Bernama) — XOX Bhd has signed a two- year partnership deal with IDOTTV Sdn Bhd to supply at least RM50 million worth of telecommunication airtime per day as traded commodity for the latter’s Islamic Banking Tawarruq Trading System, AS-SIDQ.
In a statement Thursday, XOX said the partnership effectively sealed a new and innovative way of using telecommunication airtime as the traded commodity for Islamic financing.
AS-SIDQ is a syariah-compliant trading system that facilitates personal financing between individuals and Islamic banks.
Typically, a financing agreement under the system is backed by a traded commodity as the security such as precious metals and currencies.
XOX will earn a transaction fee via the AS-SIDQ platform upon completion of the each transaction, should loan applicants opt for airtime as the traded commodity.
IDOTTV recently signed a partnership agreement with XOX’s wholly-owned unit, XOX Wallet Sdn Bhd, which is in the business of the movement and transfer of funds, enabling direct debit or credit, and facilitating transfer and receiving funds through electronic means such as via the Internet, mobile and other communication devices.
XOX chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi said the unique collaboration between XOX Wallet and IDOTTV was a breakthrough that transcended the traditional definitions of commodities for Islamic financial institutions.
“We believe this partnership will contribute positively to XOX’s financial performance in the next two years,” he said.
